Hope the new year is treating you well! I wanted to introduce a new segment to my blog called Weave It OR Leave It Wednesdays, where I will give you the scoop on the latest hairstyle that I am wearing and if it’s worth the time and more importantly, the MONEY! Before we begin, I’d like to state that this post is NOT sponsored. All items were purchased with my own money. Now, without further adieu, let’s get this party started!
- Outre- Batik Duo Bundle Dominican Blowout Relaxed
- One Pack Solution
- 18,” (2) 20,” 22,” + parting piece
This hair is perfect for my ladies who want to look beautiful on a budget! I purchased it from Wigtypes.com (as always) for just 13 dollars and some change plus shipping. It is the perfect dupe to some of those higher end “Remy” brands without spending $200.
- Heat safe
This hair is synthetic, however it is heat safe. It curls with no problem.
I used this hair to make a wig by first sewing the parting piece onto a black dome cap and gluing each individual track onto the cap as well. I have the option of wearing either a side or a middle part.
- Long Lasting
I purchased this hair back in November and it’s still going strong. Of course it’s lost a bit of its bounce since then but washing and conditioning it has definitely helped to restore some life back into it.
The only bad thing I have to say about this hair is that the actual tracks are very thin. That can be a bit of a pain if you are looking to sew in this hair.
I would 100 percent, absolutely recommend this hair! It is very affordable, super soft and easy to install. I would recommend it to be glued in versus sown in if you’d like to make a wig. In the future, I would actually try the hot glue gun method instead if the bonding glue because from watching different wig tutorials, I think it may hold better.
This is a one-pack solution meaning one pack is all you need to achieve this style. You will indeed use each one of the bundles in the package. I thought I would be able use one less since there are 2 of the 20 inch bundles but quickly realized it would not be complete had I done so. Overall, I like this hair very much and look forward to using some of the other styles by this company.
Final Recommendation: Weave It!!!
I hope you enjoyed this post! I look forward to bringing you more hair reviews in the near future!
