My 1st Passport Stamp| Mexico| Day 1!!!~ Updated

Before 2015 was over, I made a list of things that I wanted to accomplish in the new year, most of which I’m happy to say I completed. One of those goals was to take a trip. I mean why not? God didn’t make this big, ole world for us to stay in one place! It was a great experience that I’m glad to have had and even better that I can share it with you!

Destination: Cancun, Mexico

The Flight From Philadelphia International to Cancun was three hours. The first stop after landing, going through security, customs and baggage claim was to the Currency Exchange to transfer my dollars into pesos!

We took a shuttle to the hotel which was only about 10-15 minutes with how fast our driver was. We stayed downtown Cancun at the Oh! Urban Oasis, also called Oasis Smart. Check-in at the hotel wasn’t until 3pm but the staff was gracious enough to let us check in early. The hotel is very vibrant with chic decor. It has several restaurants, an amazing pool area complete with jaccuzi’s and a fitness room. Our room overlooked a busy avenue which I don’t know if it was a good or bad thing, but it reminded me of home.

After checking in, it was time to eat!

After relaxing a bit, we listened to a live Latin-Jazz band at the Crazy Hot Coyote– a burlesque club at the Oh!
