It’s that time again, Restaurant Week! Three courses for $35. Destination: Max Brenner Chocolate by The Bald Man. I have always passed by this place, wondering what on Earth could it be. With a name like that, who wouldn’t be a little curious?
Max Brenner is located in several cities across the world and is known for its amazing chocolate.
First Course: Max’s Spicy Meatballs
I only wish the taste was as good as the presentation. The meatballs weren’t seasoned very well and they were cold. 😦 Ordered a cup of coffee which was also cold. 😦
Second Course: Cheesesteak Waffle Sandwich w/ Waffle-cut fries
This was an interesting spin on what Philly is famous for, the cheesesteak. Not bad.
Third Course: Milk Chocolate Fondue, strawberries, bananas and marshmallows
This was the best part of the meal, dessert of course!
I would recommend this place for a coffee date (hopefully it won’t be cold), dessert, or anyone who really loves chocolate!
