The Cross. In recent times, it has become quite a fashion statement. Iced-out crosses have always hung from the necks of rappers on magazines and in videos. It covers sweaters and trickles down the legs of women’s tights. It embelishes our rings and is quite the eye catcher as it dangles from ear lobes.
I’ll admit, when I saw this white sweater adorned with black crosses all over, I just had to have it. I’ve gotten a few compliments but to me, it’s way more than just a fashion statment. I like to call it fashion with a purpose. It is a constant reminder of the sacrifce Jesus made as He died on the cross for our sins, rose and now lives again!
